What have we learned about Pentax 17?
A month passed since the release of Pentax 17, the camera has reached many hands, and more than a few rolls of film have already been shot and developed, so let’s run over the things we learned in the meantime!

Yes!Star, a Chinese company making new films for Fujifilm, announced a new simple, reusable point-and-shoot film camera.

The first brand-new film camera since the early 2000s is finally here, with just a few hours of waiting, Pentax is about to officially release its half-frame film camera at 22:00h CET. Update: release video below.
110 lives on!
Quite unexpectedly, Lomography has announced a brand-spanking-new camera that uses 110 format film – Lomomatic 110. Despite the low quality usually tied with the film format, the new camera looks like it’s a well-thought-out one.

High-end Polaroid I-2 camera launched
Polaroid just launched a new camera, a high-end model named I-2. It comes with LiDAR autofocus, full manual mode, a sharp lens, and can use all standard Polaroid film packs. It can connect to a smartphone using a Bluetooth connection, but it doesn’t come cheap.

Ricoh-Pentax has announced the rumoured Pentax K-3 III Monochrome, a new version of the existing Pentax K-3 III DSLR, this time with no colour filter array on its 26-megapixel APS-C sensor.
