Samsung NX mount is a fully electronic mount designed for mirrorless cameras with APS-C sensors introduced in 2010. It is a bayonet mount with three tabs, a 42mm throat diameter and a focal flange distance of 25.5mm — larger than any other modern mirrorless mount. As a fully electronic mount, there are no mechanical connections between the camera and the lens.
The crop factor of NX mount is an industry-standard standard for APS-C — 1.54×.
Samsung NX system was technically abandoned with no official announcement in 2017.
Samsung NX lenses
Most lenses support the i-Function (iFn) button, which allows control of some camera settings using a ring and button on the lens. Lenses without the iFn button are the earliest versions, released with the introduction of the system.
