As we’ve already announced, new colour negative film, Harman Phoenix II, should arrive today. Harman’s announcement says 12:00 UTC, but it appears the website is not working — it shows Service Temporarily Unavailable.
It is December, meaning the Shitty Camera Challenge has officially started! This edition of the Challenge revolves around the 1990s. By the rules, “your camera doesn’t need to be shitty this round, it just needs to be introduced between 1990-1999.”
There’s not much to say about development – I have only the traces of my favourite developer, Agfa Rodinal, but I have a few litres of fresh Kodak Xtol developer, so it was pretty obvious why I chose Xtol – I had it.
We had a week to shoot a roll (or sheet) of Ilford FP4 film, and I chose 135 format roll, with a full 36 images to go through.
