Film development mix-up

Yesterday evening, I developed two rolls of KosmoFoto Agent Shadow, 400ASA film, 17:30 min in Rodinal 1+50, minus some time for 22°C. Perfectly uneventful, both rolls turned out just fine. But I wouldn’t write a blog post about uneventful development…

The problem was, I discovered it while scanning the film… those two rolls weren’t two rolls of the same film, the other was actually AgfaPhoto APX 400! 😬

Despite the different prescribed development times, both rolls ended up developed perfectly well, with no visible difference, neither visually, nor scanned.

I’m trying not to mix up my films while developing, this is the first time to mix them unintentionally. I’m happy it turned out this good!

AgfaPhoto APX 400 film, Minolta Dynax 7000i camera, Minolta AF 28-80mm F3.5-5.6D lens.
KosmoFoto Agent Shadow film, Pentax MZ-5 film camera, smc Pentax-DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 lens.
