Leica S mount is a lens mount designed for medium-format digital SLR cameras by Leica and introduced in 2008 with the S2 camera. It is a single-lens reflex mount with a 30\u00d745mm medium format sensor (3:2 aspect ratio) and no film legacy. It is a bayonet mount with four tabs, a focal flange distance of 53mm and a throat diameter of 66.5mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is an adapter, Leica S-Adapter H, that allows mounting almost all the Hasselblad H-system lenses on S camera bodies while retaining all lens functions — autofocus, aperture and central shutter control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compared to the usual 35mm format, the crop factor of S mount lenses is 0.8\u00d7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leica discontinued the last S-mount camera in 2023. With no official updates and dubious rumours, S system is marked as discontinued.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

TS-APO-Elmar-S lens is a Schneider-Kreuznach design, with 12mm of maximum shift and 8\u00b0 of tilt in each direction. It is a manual focus, manual aperture lens. APO-Tele-Elmar-S 350mm F3.5 has been shown in promo images but was never released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
